Hyde's Vice: Established 2006

Hyde's Vice was established in 2006 by Norie Ayukawa and Matt Riser, from an original brand name and skull cameo design concept that Ayukawa had wanted to make a reality. With the assistance of Riser (Fear Cult, Newgrave Magazine, Lola Goth, etc), who possessed experience in design and overseas production and manufacturing, the first Hyde's Vice product, a skull cameo necklace, was brought to life later that year. Hyde's Vice products have included; necklaces, suspenders, brooches, T-shirts and one-off pieces such as tote bags, neck ties and patches. Hyde's vice products have been seen on TV and purchased and worn by gothic icons such as Voltaire and Wednesday Mourning. Hyde's Vice has also been featured in publications such as "Alt Fashion UK" and the "Gothic and Lolita Bible". After an overwhelming onslaught of "knock-off" skull cameo designs and bootleg reproductions of the actual Hyde's Vice skull cameo, Ayukawa had became frustrated and disillusioned by the entire manufacturing business. In 2012 she turned over full creative control and all assets of the company to Matt Riser with the hopes that he could endure the struggles and continue on with the original vision. 2013 saw the re-launch of the Hyde's Vice Website as well as all of the original accessory designs. Many exciting new products and plans for the Hyde's Vice line will be forthcoming....so please stay tuned.
